Handforth has grown rapidly in the last twenty years thanks to new housing estates north of the village and the arrival of Handforth Dean shopping park. The older village centre along Stanley Road and Wilmslow Road still has plenty of character, while the newer estates east and west have added solid family housing.
Our work across Handforth is mostly domestic - kitchen and bathroom refits on the newer estates, full-house strip-outs on the older stock nearer Handforth Dean, and a regular trickle of retail tenant-change clearances at the shopping park. A34 access makes the whole area easy to reach quickly.
Most streets are comfortable for any skip size. The tightest parts are the older terraces near Handforth Station, and on those we may suggest a midi rather than a maxi. Private-land drops are the norm everywhere else.
